Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership and development. The role directly guides the technical team to ensure efficiency and client satisfaction during events, while participating in location administration and career development opportunities.

The position requires training technicians, coordinating event setup and maintenance of equipment, and adherence to Encore’s service and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 3-5 year of audio-visual experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for team members operating company vehicles.
• Knowledge of technical theory.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading workflow and team members.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs the workflow of technicians and suggests operational efficiencies.
• Ensures flowsheets are updated and properly completed.
• Coordinates communications for event management and attends venue meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and upholds Encore’s standards.
• Trains technicians on floor activities and Encore’s service standards.
• Manages AV setup, operation, breakdown and safety requirements.
