Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a dedicated Event Operations – Event Work Crew III to ensure high-quality event execution, safety, and frontline support. You will develop and validate staff training, monitor equipment safety, and collaborate with leadership and vendors to maintain standards and coordinate complex event logistics across the estate.

The role requires ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules, with on-site leadership duties and hands-on field support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional training preferred.
• At least two years of related experience in event operations or guest services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey information clearly.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; basic math skills required.
• Strong planning, organizational and project/time management abilities.
• Proactive, safe, and customer-focused with good judgment.
• Able to work in a dynamic, guest-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan upcoming event needs with supervision.
• Maintain event inventory and ensure items are in good condition and available for rental.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed for all equipment and activities.
• Keep warehouse/shop clean, safe, and organized.
• Load/unload orders weekly and complete relevant checklists.
• Assist with Estate Exhibition/Installation/Strike activities.
• Basic knowledge of power/electrical safety; follow safety protocols.
