Job summary

Biltmore Workforce Management is seeking an Event Operations – Quality Assurance Lead to support the safe, high-quality execution of all Event Operations across the estate. This on-site role leads operational teams, supports training, safety compliance, QA initiatives, and logistics.

You will partner with supervisors, staff, and vendors to ensure standards are followed, staff are trained, and equipment and processes meet Biltmore standards; Train the Trainer background and related certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related training preferred.
• 2–5 years in event operations, facilities, or related leadership roles.
• Proven leadership in operational or event environments.
• Strong understanding of event setup, logistics, and QA practices.
• Experience coaching staff and ensuring procedural compliance.
• Experience with forklifts, aerial lifts, staging, power distribution, rigging, or similar infrastructure.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to follow directions.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, on-the-job training, and retraining of Event Operations staff in coordination with the QA team.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure safety standards, SOP adherence, and best practices.
• Support QA efforts by documenting deficiencies, identifying training gaps, and assisting with corrective actions.
• Oversee setup and strike of event infrastructure (staging, tents, power distribution, barriers).
• Ensure inventory, tools, vehicles, and equipment remain organized and available for use.
• Operate or support operations involving forklifts, telehandlers, MEWPs; certifications may be required.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely logistics of equipment.
• Review third-party installs to ensure compliance with SOPs and standards.
• Read MSDS sheets and uphold safety compliance during operations.
• Provide operational support during large-scale events and estate operations.
