Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management on-call banquet staff assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces and serve food and/or beverages to uphold our high standards of quality. The role operates in a 24/7 hotel environment with varied shifts and duties.

Responsibilities include adhering to Banquet Event Orders, greeting guests, replenishing beverages, and ensuring rooms are reset for the next function. Must follow safety rules and contribute to a clean, efficient service team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations.
• Current Food Handler Card required.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage preparations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
• Proficient in basic English for guest inquiries.
• Ability to follow labeling instructions for products.
• Ability to remember and describe menu items.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to Banquet Event Orders and guidelines.
• Attend pre-event stands up to learn function details.
• Greet guests and provide friendly service throughout events.
• Serve food and beverages to standard and sequence set by Banquet Captain.
• Bus dishes as courses finish and replenish beverages as needed.
• Reset banquet rooms for subsequent functions per supervisor specs.
• Restock supplies and perform related duties as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety procedures.
• Follow all company policies and safety/security procedures.
• Assist other banquet staff as required.
