Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a courteous banquet server to assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces and serve food and beverages to high standards. You will greet guests, follow Banquet Captain guidance, and maintain clean, safe banquet areas.

Responsibilities include restocking, beverage service, and assisting other team members as needed. Knowledge of liquor regulations and a Food Handler Card are required to ensure compliance and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations for serving alcohol.
• Basic knowledge of English to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.
• Ability to remember and promote the variety of menu items.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room per the Banquet Event Order and instruction.
• Attend stand up meetings to learn function details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages per the Banquet Captain's instructions.
• Bus dishes promptly after each course and reset rooms as needed.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Maintain neat, clean appearance and follow safety rules.
• Assist other banquet personnel as needed.
