Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a friendly, professional banquet server to assist with event setup and breakdown, and to serve food and beverages to guests in accordance with high hotel standards.

Responsibilities include following Banquet Event Orders, attending pre-event briefings, greeting guests, ensuring timely service, and maintaining a safe, clean work area while supporting the team across shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations.
• Current Food Handler Card required.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage prep, service standards and guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room per Banquet Event Order and instructions.
• Attend stand up meetings to learn function specifics and guest/hotel expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests politely.
• Serve food and/or beverages per Banquet Captain's guidance.
• Bus dishes and reset banquet rooms after functions.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Maintain neat, clean appearance and adhere to safety procedures.
• Follow department SOPs and assist other banquet staff as needed.
