Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a dedicated Banquet Server to assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces and to serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous manner in line with the hotel’s high standards. The role supports banquet operations across shifts, as the hotel runs 24/7, with varied start times and hours per week.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state/federal liquor regulations for serving alcohol to guests.
• Current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage prep, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up banquet room per Banquet Event Order and instructions.
• Attend stand-up meetings to learn function details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests politely and respond to requests.
• Serve food/beverage as directed to ensure consistency across courses.
• Bus dishes promptly and maintain course/service pacing.
