Job summary

Encore Global in a hotel/convention center environment seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems and ensure guest satisfaction. You will work directly with clients, vendors, and hotel staff to ensure equipment is functioning and events run smoothly.

The role requires some physical effort, flexibility for irregular hours, and prior AV or hospitality experience is preferred. A valid driver’s license may be required depending on assignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues in a timely manner.
• Complete order entries in Navigator and interact with clients and vendors.
