Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment in Clearwater, FL. The role reports to Operations leadership and focuses on delivering exceptional service and seamless events.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service or AV experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training and certifications are required within 60 days for externals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• External applicants must complete all training and certifications within 60 days.
• Internal applicants must meet training requirements per Encore’s programs.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment/software issues promptly.
• Document orders and coordinate with staff/vendors.
• Assist with invoices and revenue up-selling where appropriate.
