Job summary

Encore, based in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems for hospitality events and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

You will report to an Operations Manager and work on-site at hotel/convention centers, handling setup, operation, and breakdown, plus customer service and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma, some training, and a valid driver’s license; prior AV and hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must complete all required training and certifications within 60 days of start.
• Internal applicants must meet training requirements per Encore’s Learning Program.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of audio-visual experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relations with customers.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors to finalize invoices.
