Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment in Detroit, MI. You will work closely with events teams to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction, handling on-site issues, and assisting guests with equipment and software as needed.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience and some audio-visual exposure; a high school diploma is required and a driver’s license

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment/software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete order entries and collaborate with staff and vendors as needed.
