Job summary

Encore seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and involves on-site client interaction to guarantee flawless events.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, troubleshooting, and close coordination with hotel staff. You will use Navigator and equipment sheets to plan setups, manage paperwork, and support revenue

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers and maintains relationships with clients on site.
• Understands and troubleshoots basic equipment and software issues, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Completes systems entry and paperwork accurately and uses Navigator to enter orders.
