Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, reporting to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology. The role emphasizes customer service, on-site guest interaction, and ensuring equipment functions properly.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment and software issues, coordinating with clients and vendors, and completing order entries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore's Global Learning Training Program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment as listed in the technical qualifications section.
• Exceed expectations for internal and external customers.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete accurate paperwork and system entries.
• Process orders and finalize invoices with clients.
