Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/conference center environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. The role reports to the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and requires strong customer service, basic technical troubleshooting, and coordination with staff and vendors to meet client needs.

Responsibilities include on-site guest interactions, equipment setup and breakdown, and accurate systems entry using Navigator.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate's degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver's license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore's Global Learning Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed expectations of internal and external customers through effective communication.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues as needed.
• Complete order entries in Navigator and interact with staff and vendors for equipment.
• Assist with invoicing and up-selling to increase revenue.
