Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment. You will work closely with guests and internal teams to ensure smooth events, troubleshoot issues, and uphold high service standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma, preferred Associate’s degree, and a valid driver’s license. Training and certifications must be completed within 60 days; experience in hospitality is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred for advancement.
• External applicants must complete technical training and certifications within 60 days.
• Internal applicants must meet Encore’s internal training requirements.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for company vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tear down basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and communicate solutions promptly.
• Complete system entry, paperwork, and equipment scheduling per procedures.
• Assist with invoicing and up-selling opportunities where appropriate.
