Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment. On-site duties involve ensuring customer satisfaction, coordinating with clients, and maintaining accurate project and invoicing records.

The role requires adaptability to hotel schedules, strong communication, and a willingness to work irregular hours. A valid driver’s license and lifting ability are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet training/certification requirements per Encore’s program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceed internal and external customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Follow company procedures, perform accurate paperwork, and maintain systems entries.
• Interact with staff and vendors to coordinate equipment and invoicing using Navigator.
