Job summary

Encore Global seeks a technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment. You will ensure customer satisfaction through precise execution and proactive problem solving.

The role emphasizes hospitality, clear communication, and teamwork, with training and certifications as per Encore’s program. Typical duties include on-site client meetings, device troubleshooting, and accurate administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Meet with guests on-site, communicate effectively, and exceed client expectations.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately and use Navigator for orders.
• Support up-selling and assist with finalizing invoices.
