Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an on-site Technical Lead in the hospitality sector to set up and operate AV systems, ensure guest satisfaction, and supervise fellow technicians. The role emphasizes strong customer service, technical troubleshooting, and collaboration with event staff to meet client needs.

The position requires experience with audio-visual systems, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

High school diploma required, Associate’s degree preferred.
2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
2-3+ years of audio-visual experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position, within 60 days of start date.
Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.
Additional DOT requirement may need to be met if applicable.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and breakdown intermediate audiovisual equipment accurately and timely.
Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
Ensure compliance with safety and security measures and protect equipment from theft or damage.
Provide excellent customer service, meet guests on site, and ensure equipment works properly.
Lead, mentor, and coach other Technicians and maintain positive client relationships.
Focus on up-selling and collaborate with clients to finalize invoices.
