Job summary

Shields Health Care Group in Massachusetts is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Representative/Tech Aide to deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism, efficiency and accuracy.

The role offers 30 hours weekly with evening shifts: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-10:30pm and Friday 3:00pm-9:00pm, with pay range $17-29/hr plus benefits.

Responsibilities include patient check-in, HIPAA compliance, data entry, and collaboration with radiology staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Attention to detail and typing accuracy required.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to multi task and exceed customer expectations.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while performing data entry and information intake via phone.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect copay/deductible/coinsurance and explain consent forms.
• Assist patients with iPad check-in and troubleshoot as needed.
• Recognize when language services are required and refer accordingly.
• Distribute films and CDs while maintaining HIPAA and patient privacy policies.
• Collaborate with technologists and radiologists to ensure proper patient flow.
• Process mail and UPS deliveries as required.
• Prepare setup for next day’s appointments and flag potential issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient groups.
• Verify and enter information into systems.
• Respond to scheduling emergencies appropriately.
• Support Customer Care with machine utilization and waitlist management.
• Address patient and doctor concerns professionally and accurately.
