Job summary

Stanbridge University seeks an Assistant Director, Vocational Nursing to lead the VN program with emphasis on evenings and weekends. You will oversee operations, faculty performance, clinical partnerships, and student outcomes to ensure consistent quality with daytime offerings.

The role requires on-site presence during evenings/weekends and leadership in accreditation and program improvement initiatives. Strong RN leadership in accredited nursing programs is valued.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in California.
• Bachelor's degree from BVNPT-approved school; Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years as an RN; 1+ year teaching or clinical supervision in a state-approved nursing program within last 5 years.
• 3 years in nursing administration or education within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily VN program operations with focus on evenings/weekends.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate instructional faculty.
• Monitor student performance and implement retention strategies.
• Ensure BVNPT compliance and maintain clinical partnerships.
• Manage program data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear communication with clinical sites to meet student requirements.
