Job summary

Stanbridge University seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing for the Vocational Nursing (VN) Program. The role partners with the Director of Nursing to ensure program operations, faculty performance, curriculum implementation, and student outcomes across the campus.

Emphasis on regulatory compliance and a strong learning environment. The position requires leadership in education, collaboration with centralized administration, and ongoing program improvement to support NCLEX readiness

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing, education, or administration.
• Current, active RN license in California (BRN).
• Leadership experience in a nursing education program or related discipline (3+ years).
• Experience as full-time faculty in a pre- or post-licensure nursing program (3+ years).
• Experience teaching online or in hybrid learning environments (1 year+).

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate daily operations of the VN program, including student advisement and clinical education oversight.
• Partner with the Director to align with program goals and accreditation standards.
• Contribute to evaluation and improvement initiatives across the program.
• Lead faculty recruitment, onboarding, development, and evaluation.
• Support curriculum development and alignment with BVNPT and institutional standards.
• Monitor student performance and outcomes and support retention strategies.
