Job summary

Stanbridge University is seeking an Assistant Director for Vocational Nursing to lead evening and weekend VN cohorts, ensuring program quality and student success. The role partners with the Program Director on faculty performance, curriculum delivery, and clinical partnerships.

The position requires full-time on-site presence during evenings and weekends, with oversight of operations, faculty development, and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California (current, unencumbered).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from BVNPT-approved program.
• Master’s degree in nursing, education, or administration preferred.
• Minimum three years as a registered nurse and one year in teaching or clinical supervision in a state-approved nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of VN program, focusing on evenings/weekends.
• Manage faculty schedules, course planning, and resources.
• Ensure timely grading, evaluations, and reporting.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate instructional faculty.
• Provide coaching to ensure instructional excellence and ATI usage.
• Monitor student performance and support retention and completion.
• Ensure compliance with BVNPT regulations and accreditation standards.
• Coordinate clinical placements with partners and manage program data.
