Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BVNPT-approved Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of four years as a Registered Nurse
- At least one year teaching or clinical supervision in a state-approved VN/RN program
- Leadership and strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Experience with accreditation and regulatory standards
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the VN program
- Ensure BVNPT compliance and accreditation readiness
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate program faculty
- Lead curriculum design, updates, and assessments
- Monitor student retention, completion, and licensure outcomes
- Coordinate clinical placements with clinical partners
- Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
- Prepare and submit reports for BVNPT and accrediting bodies
- Represent the program with stakeholders and in professional communities
