Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a part-time donation associate to assist customers with donated goods and ensure safe, timely pre-sorting of donations. You will greet donors, help unload vehicles, and sort items by category while maintaining a clean work area.

Responsible for loading trailers, following safety rules, and protecting company assets. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and pass a background check is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous experience required.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers and donors.
• Greet donors and assist with unloading donations without damaging vehicles.
• Presort donations by category and label accordingly.
• Safely load trailers and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Follow department policies and report issues to supervisor.
• Adhere to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
