Job summary

The Next Door Recovery seeks a Flexible Admissions Peer Specialist to handle admissions calls, assess callers, and guide them to the appropriate treatment program. The role requires evening/weekend availability and may involve travel to hospitals or healthcare settings for screenings.

You will work with the Admissions Manager and a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely admissions, maintain documentation, and meet weekly admit targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• CPRS certification preferred; eligible for certification within six months of hire.
• Experience working with women in addiction, and crisis-line or call-center experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle admissions-related phone calls and assess to qualify the caller for the right program.
• Schedule in-person or telehealth assessments and transport coordination as needed.
• Maintain professional boundaries and escalate as necessary to supervisor.
• Coordinate with medical and clinical teams to ensure timely admission and documentation.
• Update referral and patient records in internal systems.
