Job summary

The Next Door is seeking a Flexible Admissions Peer Specialist in Nashville to handle admissions calls, screen and guide callers to the right treatment track. You will work in a 18-28 hour per week role with core evening coverage and flexible hours to support high-need periods.

Core duties include scheduling assessments, coordinating with hospitals or facilities, ensuring timely documentation, and maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• At least one year experience working with women in addiction.
• CPRS certification preferred or eligible to obtain within six months.
• Experience on crisis lines or in a call center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer admissions-related phone calls and assess to qualify for admission.
• Schedule in-person assessments or telehealth as needed.
• Build rapport with clients using bonding techniques during screening calls.
• Arrange transportation for clients when needed to access care.
• Maintain professional boundaries and escalate when necessary to supervisor.
• Document accurately according to policy and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with hospital and referral sources to gather collateral information.
