Job summary

The Next Door Recovery in Nashville seeks a Flexible Admissions Peer Specialist to handle admissions calls, assess suitability, and guide callers to the most appropriate treatment option. The role supports screening and admission processes across TNDR sites, including hospital and healthcare settings, with evening/weekend coverage as needed.

Qualified candidates will have a background in addiction services, strong communication, and the ability to build rapport under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience with crisis lines or call centers is preferred.
• CPRS certification preferred; eligibility to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Handle admissions calls and assess to qualify the caller for admission.
• Schedule in-person or telehealth assessments and travel to sites if allowed.
• Provide rapport-building and transportation if needed to access care.
• Coordinate with hospital partners and update records to support admissions.
• Meet weekly/monthly admit goals and collaborate with clinical teams.
