Job summary

Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown, PA is seeking a per diem Admissions Coordinator to support our Admissions Department on evening, weekend, and night shifts onsite.

The role involves telephonic and in-person risk assessments, crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, and coordinating the referral and intake process. You will determine the appropriate level of care and communicate with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology is required.
• Two years’ experience with child/adolescent mental health clients is preferred.
• Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a mental health population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and in person risk assessments and crisis intervention.
• Initial contact with referral sources and potential patients; coordinate referral and intake process.
• Determine appropriate level of care and maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
