Job summary

The Next Door Recovery in Nashville seeks a Flexible Admissions Peer Specialist to manage incoming admissions calls, perform screenings, and coordinate admissions to treatment programs. The role may require travel to hospitals or healthcare settings and telehealth when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• At least one year of experience working with women in addiction.
• CPRS certification preferred; eligible to obtain within six months.
• Experience on crisis lines or call centers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle admissions calls and return them within one hour when missed.
• Schedule in-person assessments or via telehealth at the hospital or site.
• Build rapport using bonding techniques and provide transportation when needed.
• Coordinate with medical and clinical teams to clear clients for admission.
• Document accurately per policies and maintain referrals and records.
• Meet weekly admit goals and participate in admissions meetings.
