Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Department Manager or equivalent experience required.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to learn multiple tasks.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Food Safety Manager certification or obtain accreditation within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Hire, train, and develop associates.
• Manage performance through coaching, appraisal and disciplinary actions.
• Provide leadership to promote company values and store culture.
• Ensure proper control of store funds and assets.
• Observe and ensure compliance with safety, security and food safety standards.
• Understand and use company tools and reports for decision making.
• Support the achievement of store budgeted financial and operating results.
• Maximize sales through customer service and minimize shrink through loss prevention.
• Ensure store conditions, service quality, product availability and policy execution.
• Ensure staffing schedules meet business needs across departments.
• Interact with associates and provide training and development.
• Complete CBT and Trainings as required.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
