Job summary

Safe Place for Youth is hiring a Site Associate for Lighthouse in Los Angeles, working Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm on-site. You will oversee the property, support resident safety, respond to crises, and assist with conflict resolution to maintain a safe living environment for youth.

The role requires a Bachelor’s (preferred) and 2+ years direct service experience with high-risk youth, strong communication, and the ability to work nights/weekends. Valid CA driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in direct services to high-risk transition age youth preferred.
• Working knowledge of child/adolescent development and trauma-informed care required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to collaborate with multiple partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site and property inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with program intakes/exits and prepare intake packets.
• Coordinate food and meal supports and pantry donations.
• Respond to crises and provide conflict resolution with residents.
• Maintain reporting and documentation with SPY staff.
• Drive SPY vehicles to transport residents as needed.
