Job summary

New Haven, a residential treatment center, is seeking a part-time mentor supervisor for a Spanish Fork, UT site. The role supports adolescent girls and works evenings, including two Sundays per month, supervising Mentors and coordinating with HR on staffing needs.

Responsibilities include onboarding, orientation, weekly coaching, and safety checks. Ideal candidates demonstrate leadership, calmness under pressure, and collaboration with therapists and nurses.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Commit for a minimum of 8 months and obtain a Food Handler's Permit before starting.
• Well-versed in company policies, hiring and disciplinary procedures, and mentor responsibilities.
• Understand student challenges, behavioral disorders, and medication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Mentors during shifts and recognize standout performance.
• Assign responsibilities to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Partner with HR to identify, hire, and onboard candidates for long-term success.
• Guide new hires through structured on-shift orientation.
• Facilitate weekly training sessions and provide ongoing coaching.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance with quarterly reviews.
• Address performance issues professionally using disciplinary protocols.
• Share shift updates during handoffs for continuity.
• Advocate for the shift during interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.
• Conduct quarterly safety drills and model best practices.
