Job summary

New Haven Residential Treatment Center is seeking a shift mentor supervisor for on-site roles in Spanish Fork, UT. You will supervise Mentors, manage shift operations, and partner with HR to onboard new staff in a mission-driven environment focused on adolescent care.

The role requires strong leadership, crisis management, and excellent communication to support a trauma-informed, patient-centered team. Training and development opportunities are offered within a supportive, growth-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Utah driver’s license with clean record.
• Pass Utah State background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Mentors during shifts, recognizing top performers and fostering a positive team culture.
• Delegate tasks to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Collaborate with HR to identify, hire, and onboard candidates for long-term success.
• Lead on-shift orientation with a structured checklist.
• Facilitate weekly training and provide ongoing coaching to elevate team performance.
• Monitor staff performance and conduct quarterly reviews.
• Address performance issues with formal disciplinary protocols.
• Communicate shift updates during handoffs for continuity.
• Advocate for your shift during interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.
• Lead quarterly safety drills and model best practices to maintain a secure environment.
