Job summary

New Haven, a leading residential treatment center for adolescent girls (ages 13–18), is seeking a shift leader to supervise Mentors, coordinate shift operations, and partner with HR for onboarding. The role supports trauma-informed care across our Saratoga Springs campus with a strong focus on safety and team development.

The position requires 21+ year-old with a HS diploma, clean driving record, and Utah background check; commitment of 8+ months and Food Handler’s Permit are required before

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with high school diploma and a clean driver license; Utah background check required.
• Willing to commit for 8+ months and obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before start.
• Strong leadership, teaching, and team-building skills.
• Ability to work with therapists and nurses in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Purpose: supervise Mentors and foster a positive team culture.
• Strategic Delegation: assign responsibilities for smooth shift operations.
• Talent Onboarding: partner with HR to hire and onboard the right candidates.
• Thorough Orientation: guide new hires through structured, checklist-based onboarding.
• Continuous Development: conduct weekly training and ongoing coaching.
• Performance Oversight: monitor staff and conduct quarterly reviews.
• Safety Leadership: quarterly drills and model best practices.
• Clear Communication: share shift updates during handoffs.
• Team Representation: advocate for your shift at interdisciplinary meetings.
