Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Whitehall, MI, is seeking an on-site Supervisory role to lead the manufacturing team at Plant 10—Whitehall Casting. The position focuses on directing staff, ensuring safety, and meeting production goals on an off-shift schedule.

You will coach employees, manage attendance, and coordinate with engineering and quality control to resolve issues. The role requires resilient leadership, TPM/Kaizen familiarity, and strong communication across all levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Direct and motivate a manufacturing team to meet quality, safety, and productivity targets.
• Supervise scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations; manage time and attendance.
• Provide training and mentoring to new supervisors; ensure EHS rules are followed.
• Coordinate with management, engineering, and QA to resolve maintenance and operational issues.
• Plan production and work teams; monitor reports and drive continuous improvement.
