Job summary

Howmet Aerospace seeks a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Leader for Plant 3, Whitehall Casting, to plan, develop, and implement new methods improving operations, labor and material utilization. You will lead a team, conduct performance reviews, and drive safety and housekeeping audits across shifts.

The role emphasizes deploying ABS and EHS improvements, employee engagement, and close collaboration with management, engineering, and quality to resolve issues and minimize costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years of people leadership experience; 2 years in manufacturing.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a manufacturing team; plan and conduct performance reviews.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and attendance; coach and mentor employees.
• Direct training on EHS rules and ensure policy compliance.
• Resolve production and maintenance issues to minimize costs and delays.
• Analyze deviations, propose corrective actions, and control costs.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality to improve operations and equipment.
• Ensure safety procedures and housekeeping audits are performed.
