Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Whitehall, MI seeks a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Leader for Plant 3, Whitehall Casting Operation. You will plan, develop, and implement methods to improve operations, reduce costs, and maximize labor and material utilization.

You will lead a team, conduct safety inspections, and deploy EHS improvements across shifts to engage employees and sustain a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of people leadership experience; 2 in a manufacturing environment.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement new methods to improve operations and reduce costs.
• Supervise the shift team, manage staffing, and conduct performance appraisals.
• Lead safety inspections and housekeeping audits; ensure EHS compliance.
• Deploy ABS and EHS improvements across shifts to engage employees.
• Coordinate with management, engineering, and quality control to resolve issues.
