Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Leader for Plant 10 (2nd Shift) in Whitehall, MI.

This on-site role leads operations in the Whitehall Casting Operation, focusing on planning, developing, and implementing methods to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize labor and materials utilization. The incumbent will drive EHS improvements across shifts, engage employees, support safety inspections, and maintain compliance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• 5years of people leadership experience; 2 of which are within a manufacturing environment
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Supervises an effective team; plan meetings, manage staffing, coaching and training, time/attendance
• Directs training to ensure EHS rules and company policies are understood
• Maintains compliance with the collective bargaining agreement and interfaces with union officials
• Reviews production and operating reports to resolve operational issues and minimize costs
• Investigates deviations and implements corrective actions to schedules, costs, and quality
• Requisitions tools and supplies and ensures employees are trained on tools
• Coordinates with management, engineering and quality control to improve operations
• Plans and implements new methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Participates in plant safety inspections and housekeeping audits
• Performs other duties as assigned
