Job summary

XPO is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Illinois to support shipment billing, tariff pricing, and customer inquiries on a daily basis. You will help ensure accurate invoicing and timely responses while upholding our service standards.

Responsibilities include processing shipments, resolving documentation issues, quoting rates, and handling phone calls and data entry. The role requires strong communication and a flexible schedule to cover day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong computer, typing and 10-key skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Bill shipments according to applicable tariffs and pricing agreements
• Recognize and resolve documentation errors
• Assist customers with inquiries, including tracing shipments, rate quotes, tariff discrepancies and billing and invoicing questions
• Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry and billing
• Process over, short, and damaged freight and related documentation for customer resolution
