Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Fitter/Welder for the second shift (4:00 pm – 2:30 am, Mon-Tue) in El Dorado, Kansas. The role involves welding steel, metal, and aluminum per layouts and blueprints, using GMAW/FCAW/SAW processes.

You will read weld symbols, fit parts, and assemble with precision, while complying with safety and LEAN practices in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must read weld symbols and blueprints.
• Five+ years experience in fitting/welding in manufacturing.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow fit and layout instructions per detailed drawings.
• Tack weld material into place and assemble components.
• Use grinders, buffers, drills to prepare material for fitting.
• Operate overhead cranes to move material.
• Perform welding using GMAW, FCAW, and SAW processes.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain clean workspace.
