Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor (Building Oversight) to manage clinical and operational workflow across the facility during the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM weekday shift. This role reports to nursing administration and serves as the on-duty clinical leader, ensuring resident-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut RN license required.
• 2–3 years clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute rehab.
• Prior supervisory/charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and rapid decision-making under pressure.
• Proficient with EMR systems (PointClickCare).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing operations across all facility units during the evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, M–F).
• Act as primary clinical decision-maker for emergencies and transfers.
• Conduct comprehensive rounds to oversee care, meds, infection control, and charting.
• Manage shift staffing and resource allocation to maintain coverage.
• Oversee admissions, room placements, and physician orders; conduct smooth handoffs.
• Mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; uphold professional standards.
• Ensure documentation adheres to CT DPH and CMS guidelines; report incidents promptly.
