Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a part-time RN to support Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. The RN will promote, restore, and maintain residents’ health by collaborating with providers and the interdisciplinary team on resident-centered plans.

Compensation is $41.00 - $44.00 per hour, with an evening shift differential. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401k with 3% match, onsite clinics, education reimbursement, and growth

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web apps.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, placing the resident first.
• Perform clinical duties in line with state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by teaching residents and families about condition, meds, and self-care.
• Monitor resident status and intervene to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates for routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention, administer meds, and perform treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate Holistic plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Document care activities in the EMR and ensure timeliness.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
