Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Maryland is seeking part-time Registered Nurses (RN) for day and evening shifts to support Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. The RN will provide holistic resident care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, documenting in the EMR and ensuring safety and comfort for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in Maryland.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience with seniors or seniors with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office; internet and web applications.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a caregiver approach to support physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform all clinical duties per state nurse practice act and nursing standards.
• Promote resident independence by teaching residents and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to provide routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate holistic plans of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the resident's electronic medical record.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
