Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD, is hiring part‑time Registered Nurses (RNs) to support Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will promote residents' health and wellbeing through collaboration with the care team and providers.

This role requires an active Maryland RN license, at least 6 months of RN experience, CPR, and comfort with EMR; benefits include comprehensive medical packages, PTO, 401k match, onsite wellness centers, and education

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in Maryland.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• EMR experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families focusing on holistic care.
• Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by teaching residents and families about condition, medication, and self-care.
• Monitor residents and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates for routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention and administer medications.
• Coordinate holistic care plan with interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in EMR and ensure timely records.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
