Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Patient Access representative focused on registration, billing support, and insurance verification. You will interact with patients, families, and providers to collect accurate data and ensure timely payments.

Your role involves multitasking across scheduling, chart creation, charge entry, scanning, and front-desk duties, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of healthcare or related clerical, accounting, or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Experience with patient registration and insurance verification is preferred.

• Communicates with patients, families, physicians, and insurance companies to obtain information and verifications.
• Enters data into registration, billing, and patient tracking systems quickly and accurately.
• Verifies insurance coverage and authorizations when applicable.
• Explains financial requirements to patients and collects deposits as needed.
• Supports Patient Accounting to produce clean claims and minimize denials.
