Your role involves multitasking across scheduling, chart creation, charge entry, scanning, and front-desk duties, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare or related clerical, accounting, or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Experience with patient registration and insurance verification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients, families, physicians, and insurance companies to obtain information and verifications.
• Enters data into registration, billing, and patient tracking systems quickly and accurately.
• Verifies insurance coverage and authorizations when applicable.
• Explains financial requirements to patients and collects deposits as needed.
• Supports Patient Accounting to produce clean claims and minimize denials.
