Job summary

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma.
• Preferred: Associate Degree or certificate in healthcare related field.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter patient demographics, insurance, and related data into the registration system.
• Verify insurance coverage and ensure pre-authorization and referrals as required.
• Coordinate scheduling of Radiology, Lab and basic ancillary services.
• Collect patient liabilities and ensure payments prior to or on the date of service.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges and related tasks.
• Maintain accurate records, logs and files as required.
