Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford is seeking a Registration Services professional to accurately collect and enter patient demographics, insurance information, and related data in the scheduling system. You will verify insurance coverage, collect liabilities, schedule ancillary services, and support billing workflows while maintaining HIPAA compliance and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Proficient data-entry with attention to detail.
• Strong customer service, both verbal and written.
• Ability to navigate computer systems and scheduling software.
• Experience in hospital admissions, insurance verification, billing or scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enters patient demographic and insurance information into the registration/scheduling system.
• Verifies patient signatures on HIPAA and consent documents.
• Verifies insurance coverage and assists with pre-authorizations and referrals as needed.
• Schedules Radiology, Lab and basic ancillary service appointments.
• Collects patient liabilities and ensures balances are collected before service when possible.
• Maintains accurate records and supports revenue cycle workflows.
