Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education or GED.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated patient care experience including 800 hours as PCT I or 6 months direct care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely communication to the RN about patient observations and changes.
• Maintain constant observation of high-risk patients as assigned.
• Help create a safe environment and de-escalate when needed, including restraints per training.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, hygiene, meals, and nourishment.
• Assist in moving, lifting, positioning and transporting patients using proper safety techniques.
