UMass Memorial Health Marlborough is hiring a Patient Care Technician I for the 2 - Evening shift (8 hours). The role supports the healthcare team by providing patient care and daily living assistance in a busy emergency department setting.

Under licensed supervision, you will monitor patients, document observations, and assist with routine clinical tasks. A high school diploma and BLS are required; prior patient care experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide clear, timely communication to the RN regarding patient observations and changes.
• Maintain constant observation of high‑risk patients as assigned.
• Assist in creating a safe environment and de-escalation as needed; follow restraint policies when required.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Support nursing staff with treatments, supplies and patient care activities.
