Qualifications

• One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential.
• Six months' customer service experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Registration: greet patients, verify demographics, create/route documents, collect payments, resolve registration errors or denied claims.
• Scheduling: coordinate appointments with nursing team/providers, coordinate referrals, arrange interpreter services, check in/out, operate multi-line phone.
• Additional duties: prepare/coordinate charts, organize provider documents, patient financial assistance, track patient visits, telemed appointments, reminder calls, office duties.
